The creator of Microsoft Word and Excel, Charles Simonyi sends into the air for the second time in his life ...
about two years ago he offered a first round aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as a private tourist. Well, there is a taste and returns ... I think he had better return to its lines of code :-)

. As ridiculous as
DRM!
Not actually more:
It was almost a diplomatic incident. During his recent visit to Washington, Prime Minister Gordon Brown has been offered by the United States President Barack Obama a 25 DVD box set collecting some of the greatest classics of American cinema: Citizen Kane, Godfather, Casablanca Lawrence of Arabia, Psycho, Star Wars: Episode IV, The Wizard of Oz, Vertigo, ET, etc.. Some political observers have felt that the gift was a little "cheap" from the new President, perhaps influenced in his choice by the Vice-President Joe Biden, near the lobby of Hollywood. But in addition, the gift was tainted.
Returning to 10 Downing Street, British Prime Minister sat comfortably in his chair to enjoy the gift. But the DVD player did not want it. The films offered by Obama were indeed protected against copying, and reading them reserved only players sold in Area 1 (North America). Yet the reader of Gordon Brown, purchased in Britain, is a reader of zone 2 (Japan, Europe, South Africa, Middle East). To take advantage of his gift, Gordon Brown should have used a region-free player, and therefore violating the EU Directive EUCD protects DRM. He preferred to store the box in a drawer.
Asked by the Telegraph, the law firm of Gordon Brown has assured that he had no doubt that the gift was "thoughtful", but still returned to the White House for an explanation of the "technical aspects" of the problem .
Meanwhile, Gordon Brown had offered including the first edition of the seven-volume biography Winston Chuchill that Barack Obama was able to open and read without any problem. Pumped on
